Job Description : Support the development, negotiation, renewal, maintenance, and compliance of IT contracts.- Collaborate closely with IT Contracts Manager, various business stakeholders, IT leaders, and legal counsel.
- Execute contracts, assess contractual performance, and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.- Support the development of specific standards, service level agreements, and contract administration.
- Provide guidance and support to Contract Specialists and Junior Contract Specialists on system policies and departmental procedures.
- Monitor and track upcoming contractual actions and deadlines.- Collaborate with various departments and IT leaders in the contract development process.
- Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of IT contract text and attachments.- Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate regularly with business partners and internal stakeholders on IT contractual issues.
- Provide monthly and annual IT contractual activity reports and other metrics reports to IT Contracts Manager and other IT leadership as needed.
- Offer advice and interpretation of IT contract requirements, obligations, and risk exposure to IT leaders.- Apply creativity and sound business reasoning to align IT contract terms to IT and business needs.
- Review, analyze, and negotiate IT contracts to ensure compliance with applicable corporate policies and project requirements.
- Negotiate directly with suppliers throughout the preparation, evaluation, and execution of IT contracts.- Participate in audits of IT contracts.
- Work with legal counsel to determine the most appropriate contract types to reduce company exposure to risk.- Identify and recommend process improvement methods related to IT contracting.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with peers, stakeholders, and suppliers.- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Schedule Notes : This is a remote position but may require coming on-site for meetings. Must be local to specific regions.
Role will involve mapping contracts on applications used by the company and making necessary amendments and negotiations.
