NURSE PRACTITIONER

Nurse PractitionerHealthCare Support is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner to fill an opening with a prestigious healthcare company in Virginia Beach, VA.

Daily Responsibilities for Nurse Practitioner : Primary Responsibilities : Conduct comprehensive assessments, patient facing Effectively manage acute and chronic medical and behavioral conditions Ensure accurate and complete documentation, including ICD 10 conditions Mon-Fri 8-5pm (Ideal - Flexible with scheduling) - Traveling to 3 Long Term Care Facilities surrounding VA Beach & Norfolk, VARequired Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner : Active and unrestricted license in the state which you reside, or ability to obtain by start date Graduate of an accredited Master of Science Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice program Minimum 1 year NP experience Board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or the American Nurses Credentialing Center, with certification in one of the following : Family Nurse Practitioner Adult Nurse Practitioner Gerontology Nurse Practitioner Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Current, active DEA licensure / prescriptive authorityPreferred Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner : 1+ year of clinical experience in practice (long-term care setting preferred) Experience in meeting the medical needs of patients with complex behavioral, social and / or functional needs Understanding of Geriatrics and Chronic Illness Understanding of Advanced Illness and end of life discussionsBenefits for Nurse Practitioner : Immediate enrollment in Health Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Access to Investment Accounts Career and educational tools within our Ingenovis ACT (Advocacy) Program Pay Details : $70.
