Job Summary
The successful candidate will perform a variety of law enforcement functions, including but not limited to patrol, security, investigations, crime prevention, community policing, and traffic & parking enforcement. The successful candidate is expected to diligently follow the Mission and Vision of the Saginaw Valley State University Police Department as well as the Core Values of the University.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Supervision is received from the Chief of Police or Command Staff designee.
May be responsible for the training and supervision of student employees, and occasional supervision of less senior officers in the absence of the Chief of Police and Police Sergeant.

Work schedule will vary and can include days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays. Some overtime may be required.
