Ibotta is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - Salesforce to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding by building something great with us.

As part of the engineering team, you will play an integral part in building out the next iteration of our web-based suite of products.

We're looking for a self-motivated engineer who has a passion for building high quality, user experiences, and fluent interfaces backed by scalable architecture.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office, (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing :

  • Work with a highly talented cross-functional team to design, develop and deliver new products and features that will be used by millions of consumers.
  • Stay abreast of the ever-changing technology landscape to identify the best tools and technologies for the problems we’re solving.
  • Use the latest cloud technologies from AWS to design and build flexible, scalable, reliable and high-performing applications.
  • Write tests and participate in code reviews to ensure that we're shipping high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Leverage and improve our CI / CD pipeline to deploy code to production many times daily.

What we are looking for :

  • 4-5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of Apex, SOQL, Reports and Dashboards.
  • 2+ years of Salesforce Lightning Platform (LWC and / or AURA).
  • Expertly work across stacks and design with client and platform in mind.
  • Fundamental knowledge of object-oriented software design, development and architectural principles.
  • Deep understanding of application development best practices including security, compliance, performance, optimization, reliability, cost efficiency, etc.
  • Proven experience in JavaScript and JavaScript libraries and frameworks like React / Vue.js / Next / Nuxt, CSS preprocessors like Sass / LESS, and module bundler tooling.
  • Proven experience with relevant technologies such as Typescript, Ruby on Rails, Java, Kotlin, Nodejs, etc., and data stores such as MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, etc.

and knowing when to use each.

  • Experience implementing observability, monitoring and alerting for services and establishing SLOs for services.
  • High level of comfort with testing approaches and frameworks, from unit testing to automated testing.
  • Proven experience with cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.), DevOps best practices, and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.

g. Terraform, CloudFormation, etc).

Working knowledge of architectural concepts, microservices, serverless, event-driven, platforms, etc.

Additional Details :

  • This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, and 401k match.
  • Base compensation range : $120,000 - $160,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.
