SHOP ASSISTANT
Adecco is looking for material handlers in the Warren, MI area. Our client in Warren has a shop assistant opening at their Auburn Hills, MI location.
The ideal candidate needs to have experience in warehouse and want to grow within the company. The hours are 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM Monday thru Friday .
The client is looking for someone that they can hire and promote within, as well as grow with the company. This position in entry level and is a starting point to grow within.

Job title : Shop Assistant
Job Summary The candidate will work as a Shop Assistant, performing general labor tasks such as loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials under the direction of a Shift Supervisor.
The position is an entry-level role with potential for growth and requires compliance with various regulations.
Even Simpler : The job is for someone who helps around the shop by moving things and doing simple tasks as told by their boss.

Must-Have Requirements
- Ability to perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, moving materials
- Basic computer skills in MS Office
- Knowledge of handling tools such as hand tools and power tools ( hand tools , power tools )
- Ability to operate or learn to operate equipment like electric pallet jacks and forklifts ( electric pallet jacks , forklifts )
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing / shop environment
- Ability to drive a hi-lo; ability to obtain certification ( hi-lo )
Skill Education
- general labor : Tasks that involve physical work like lifting and moving objects.
- loading / unloading / lifting / moving materials : Involves handling goods manually or using equipment.
- MS Office : Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office software like Word and Excel.
- hand tools / power tools : Familiarity with basic manual and electric-operated instruments used for various tasks.
- electric pallet jacks / forklifts / hi-lo : Equipment used for lifting and transporting heavy items within warehouses or shops.
Requirements
- HS Diploma / GED
- Shop, warehouse, and related experience
- Team player, quality characteristics, and willingness to learn
Pay Details : $18.00 per hour
