The School of Communication & The Arts invites applications for various Part-Time Faculty positions for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Opportunities to teach multiple / additional courses may become available. Successful candidates will teach, develop course materials, assist students as needed, and assess student work.
Minimum Qualifications :
Masters or Bachelors degree in an appropriate field, and / or Industry / professional experience. Previous college level teaching experience needed.
Essential Functions :
Opportunities are available to teach in one or more areas across several disciplines over time. Teaching opportunities include undergraduate courses that may be available in both on-ground and online environments.
Availability to teach during daytime hours is desired.

About the Department / School :
The programs of the Department of Art and Digital Media give students the opportunity to develop as artists, designers, digital media creators, and scholars in facilities that support both traditional media, such as painting and sculpture, and the latest developments in new media.
Beginning in Spring 2019, the programs are housed in the newly renovated and expanded Steel Plant, with four state-of-the-art digital labs, new traditional media studios, a maker space for digital fabrication and large format 2-D printing, as well as an interior garden with café and gallery that exhibits regional and international artists as well as the work of our students.
