The Department of Health Sciences seeks applications for a full-time clinical assistant professor (9-month non-tenure track appointment) in health sciences that would join the faculty in the Fall of 2025.

The candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses such as epidemiology and the application of computing and data sciences, including artificial intelligence (AI) in health.

The candidate will be expected to participate and collaborate in research supporting the scholarship of the college related to applied quantitative methods in health.

The Department of Health Sciences offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Health Science Human Physiology, and Nutrition along with an undergraduate minor program in Public Health.

The Department offers graduate programs in Human Physiology (Master of Science and PhD) as well as M.S. in Nutrition and in partnership with the Boston University School of Public Health a 4 + 1 MPH program.

Roles and Responsibilities

The position is a full-time, 9-month, clinical faculty (non-tenure track) appointment beginning for the Fall Semester of 2025.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality instruction to students in the undergraduate health science program and supporting the research and scholarship of department faculty, post-docs, and PhD students.

Responsibilities also include participation in departmental, college, university, and professional service activities. The start date is Fall term, 2025.
