Associate Security Officer

Description

Provides a safe and secure environment for all caregiver medical staff, patients, and visitors on the St. Mary Medical Center campus;

24 hours a day. Age-Related Competencies : Neonate (birth-28 days), Infant (28 days-1 year), Child (1-12 years), Adolescent (13-18 years), Adult (18-64 years), Geriatric (65 years-death).

Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of patient's status.

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide for the primary population of patients served in the department.

Required Qualifications :

upon hire : California Security Guard Registration.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Coursework / Training Attended an accredited law enforcement training program.
• 1 year Patrol experience.
