Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Tube Laser Operator to join our team! In addition to performing laser operation, this individual will ensure jobs are set-up to meet MPCD / customer requirements.

• Understands and follows all applicable safety policies and procedures.
• With Manufacturing Supervisor, schedule daily / weekly workload.
• Download part program into machine controller.
• Ability to perform adjustments of the tube laser to remedy slag, burn through, burrs, and un-desirable conditions.
• Utilizes hand instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gage) to perform first piece / blue tag inspections.
• Obtains inspection approval for each job.
• Works with Engineering to resolve problems and production issues.
• Train new Associates on equipment operation, department processes and procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic errors with the operation of the tube laser.
• May be required to work / assist Maintenance with issues outside of basic errors / issues.
• Ability to successfully load material and record production in Plex.

Qualifications : Education :

Education :

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); One year certificate from college or technical school preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience :

2-3 years related experience or training.

Hours :

• 2nd Shift : 2 : 00pm-11 : 30PM
• Full Time - 40 hours per week
• Monday - Friday
