Position Overview : We are excited to announce a Part-time opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team near Auburn, WA.
This role is vital in providing high-quality nursing care within local school districts, supporting students' health and well-being to ensure their academic success.
Qualifications :
- Education : pletion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
- Licensure : Current and valid LPN license in the state of the state.
- Experience : Experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
- Skills : Strong clinical skills, with the ability to follow healthcare plans and protocols effectively.
Responsibilities :
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and manage students' health conditions, including chronic illnesses and injuries.
- Provide first aid and emergency care as needed.
- Conduct health screenings and assessments.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to support students' health needs.
- Educate students and staff on health-related topics and preventive care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and 504 Plans.
