Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant General Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong ability to drive results.
As the Assistant General Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of all aspects of the restaurant, including customer service, staff management, inventory control, and financial performance.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in Managing Daily Operations : Collaborate with the General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Staff Training and Development : Train, mentor, and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service and uphold quality standards.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement.
- Customer Service Excellence : Ensure that guests receive exceptional service and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Inventory Management : Assist in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling food and beverage costs to maximize profitability while minimizing waste.
- Maintain Safety and Sanitation Standards : Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation guidelines to provide a clean and safe environment for staff and customers.
- Promote Marketing Initiatives : Assist in developing and implementing marketing and promotional activities to attract new customers and increase sales.
- Vendor Relations : Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products and services.
- Assist in Administrative Duties : Assist in administrative tasks such as employee onboarding, scheduling, and maintaining records and reports.
Requirements :
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, staff management, scheduling and labor management, events and promotions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training preferred.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
