Responsibilities and Duties :
As an Office Assistant / Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent customer service.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Customer Service : Handling phone calls, returning calls, responding to text messages, inquiries, and emails in a professional and courteous manner.
- Scheduling : Coordinating appointments, crews, and projects efficiently.
- Work Orders : Preparing and organizing work orders for landscaping projects.
- Confirmation Calls : Confirming appointments and project details with clients.
- Accounting Assistance : Assisting with various accounting tasks, including accounts receivable and invoicing.
- New Customer Setup : Managing and updating customer records and setting up new customer accounts.
- Data Entry : Accurate data entry into QuickBooks and other software.
- Additional Tasks : Assisting with general office tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications :
To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service background and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Office experience, including telephone experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- QuickBooks experience (helpful but not required).
- Accounts receivable experience (helpful but not required).
