RESPONSIBILITIES :

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Product UI Designer in San Jose, CA.

Summary :

A Senior UI Designer on the Product team works closely with UX and Development disciplines to create considered and elegant design systems supporting the visual design of Company and select elements outside of Digital Studio.

This hands-on designer role balances creativity and logic and helps ensure a holistic approach is thoughtfully applied across platform typography, iconography, and interface elements.

Responsibilities :

• Develop design solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives in a highly collaborative and iterative remote studio environment
• Balance strategic design goals with stakeholder
• Collaborate with cross-functional disciplines (Visual Design, UX, Content Strategy, Development, Publishing, Experience Strategy)
• Directly contribute to project design and development : create layouts / initial graphic concepts, conceive functional design solutions, create presentations and prototypes

REQUIREMENTS :

• Strong design portfolio in product design (especially for web), defining or extending design systems, and / or working within a brand's strict style guidelines
• Figma expertise; Prototyping and MS Office experience a plus
• Understanding of web development, including HTML and CSS
• Clear communication and presentation skills that speak to both creative and technical audiences
• Keen interest in championing brand identity through a balance of consistency and flexibility
• Proficiency in the formal elements of design, with a strong focus on typography, balance, and proportion
• Systematic problem solver; Able to anticipate the impact of design decisions well in advance of their application
• Ability to articulate ideas verbally and digitally; Be clearly understood by creative, product management, and development staff

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.

This range may be modified in the future.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
