Ally Building Solutions provides flooring products and quality installation, a full line of window treatments, a wide range of cabinetry options, and design studio solutions to new home builders in greater Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa Bay, and Fort Myers.
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate & Material Handler to join our Tampa team. The Material Handler will pick and stage orders, accept incoming shipments, and oversee the general organization of the warehouse.
Warehouse Associate & Material Handler Job Responsibilities :
- Accurately pull jobs daily capturing all needed stock and ordered materials.
- Assist with cycle counting of inventory and restock supplies.
- Receive materials ensuring all deliveries are accurate, then document in system.
- Accept, verify, inspect, and record all deliveries according to policy.
- Record, report, and return defective items.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
- Notify Team Lead of any shipping or receiving issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Warehouse Associate & Material Handler Job Requirements :
- Receiving experience highly preferred.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
- Previous warehouse and forklift experience
- The ability to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
- The ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds consistently and up to eighty pounds occasionally.
