- Position : Director of Clinical Quality
- Location : Hybrid Occasional travel required
- Hours : Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

The Position :
The Clinical Quality Director is responsible for leading, coordinating, and monitoring clinical quality initiatives, including accreditation, day to day operations, patient experience, as well as internal / external education technology within the organization.
The director leads the team in developing programs and disseminating the program framework throughout PHS partnerships in areas of expansion
- Oversees team’s preparation for accreditation organizations, state licensure, and other regulatory agency surveys, ensuring all requirements have been fulfilled.
- Participates in developing, implementing, and auditing accreditation and licensing-related company policies, procedures, and assessments.
- Ensures team is receiving, processing, and responding to all information regarding the safety of company products.
- Identifies and oversees the audit process for document progress and completion of patient education, product alerts, recalls, and notices, ensuring appropriate departments in implementation as needed.
- Promotes and develops initiatives to support Patient Experience Initiatives supporting 100% Patient Satisfaction.
- Drives clinical excellence by leading process improvement groups / initiatives.
- Collaborates with leaders to identify and coordinate Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities.
- Supports implementation and monitoring of compliance program, including components to improve efficiency and quality of services and reduce risk vulnerability.
- Develops, coordinates and participates in internal and external education initiatives to support PHS’ Pediatric Center of Excellence.
- Develops policies and procedures that encourage employees, patients, and stakeholders to report suspected issues of non-compliance by organization.
- Develops and implements training for, and monitors the compliance of staff and business associates, as appropriate.
- Establishes methods to track information and provides the access and reporting required for compliance with HIPAA patient rights.
- Maintains current knowledge of applicable federal and state privacy and security laws, accreditation standards, industry standards and government agency requirements for privacy and security.
- Directs, participates in, and reviews the creation of digital and written education materials to ensure materials produced meet PHS education standards.
- Integrates and rolls-out education program and materials to new PHS locations.
- Coordinates clinical education service provided through simulation, classroom activities, and clinical outreach.
- Serves as a resource for managers, directors, and employees regarding policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Serves as member of management team and participates in clinical research studies and publications.
Qualifications :
- Respiratory therapist or Registered Nurse
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a clinical focus; and four to ten years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
