The Home Services Pharmacy Technician 2 performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of medications from the pharmacy to the patient's home or appropriate facility in a prompt and accurate manner.
This technician has advanced knowledge and skills in two or more specialty areas in the pharmacy.

Required Qualifications :
- Upon hire : Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician Or
- Upon hire : Oregon Pharmacy Technician License
- Upon hire : In compliance with the Providence Health and Services-OR Human Resources policy #302 Background Checks, a criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician Program.
- 1 year (2080 clock hours) of pharmacy technician experience.
- Inpatient, Long Term Care or Specialty Pharmacy experience.
- Experience with Pyxis CII Safe.
