Packaging Technician Job DetailsColumbus, Ohio (near Hilliard)Monday-Friday Second Shift : 3 : 45 PM-12 : 15 AM $17.50 / hr (second shift includes shift difference)Overtime optional Packaging Technician RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required Able to proficiently read / write EnglishWorking knowledge of computer hardware (PC Windows)Previous experience in hospital or pharmacy care industry preferredWorking knowledge of mechanical packaging equipment is a plusPharmacy Technicians or trainees is a plus Ability to lift to 10lbs, sit / stand for prolonged periods.
About the Packaging Technician RoleAs a Packaging Technician, your responsibilities will include : This position requires STRONG attention to detail.
Perform att unit-dose medication packaging and complete daily orders as needed. Maintain supplies needed in the workstation to fulfill services.
Perform daily preventive maintenance and necessary routine adjustments on the packaging equipment.Generate accurate packaging labels according to requirements regarding verification procedures as specified in our standard operating procedures.
Follow standard operating procedures in accordance with the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and other standards.
