Senior Staff Software Engineer, Fullstack leaning Frontend (Mailchimp)

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience, with a strong track record of building and operating large web applications with microservice architecture and streaming Strongly preferred if you are full stack and have front-end experience.
• Development experience with Data technologies / tools and ability to apply it to user experiences or front-end solutions.

Experience with front-end technologies like React, JavaScript, Experience with backend technologies like PHP, Java / Kotlin, Typescript, Spring, NodeJS.

Experience with testing technologies like JEST, PHPUnit, JUnit, Experience with instrumentation and experimentation technologies like Optimizely, Intellimize, Segment, Amplitude.

Experience with cloud data warehousing tools like BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, Clickhouse.Familiarity with technologies like Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, DialogFlow, SageMaker, Python.

• Prior working experience in a cloud computing environment like AWS / GCP is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working across different altitudes, from code quality / delivery management and reviewing technical architecture proposals to communicating strategy and domain capabilities plans with team and senior leadership.
• Demonstrated experience building and operating large scale web platforms and microservices in an API-first environment, with emphasis on managing operational excellence and high-quality customer experiences.
• Demonstrated experience works across teams and functions to break down barriers to enable teams to move with urgency.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, succinctly, and persuasively to all levels of employees, customers, and management (including executives).

Self-starter" attitude and the ability to work independently

• Ability to influence and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people.
• BS / MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical vision for FTU with a platform mindset to build reusable components for the use of the whole organization.
• Responsible for the execution of the FTU vision insights from customer behavior and research leading to better product and technology optimization.
• Drive velocity in the organization by accelerating customer, business, and technology outcomes by identifying and driving key opportunities across the company.
• Drive significant technology initiatives end-to-end, including horizontal layers of the organization.
• Lead operational excellence to deliver highly available, scalable web applications and microservices with utmost attention to quality, security, and performance metrics for APIs and experiences.
• Engrossed in the details of product, tech and architecture in order to co-create a feasible development plan with cross-functional stakeholders (Product Management and Design).
• Collaborate cross-functionally (with product management, design and program management) through change management and provide the technical guidance and evaluations needed to maintain high quality product experiences for customers.
• Define and execute remediation steps to keep the team velocity and deliverables value to customers high.
• Create robust, scalable, and secure technical designs, effectively implementing them to balance short-term and long-term objectives, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of applications.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $208000 - $281500.

This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs .
