- Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) 3x12 Nights 7p-7 : 15a, weekdays, every other weekend *MUST HAVE NICU / PICU EXPERIENCE* Start Date : Every other week on Mondays (once fully cleared) Shift : 3x12 Nights 7p-7 : 15a, weekdays, every other weekend Work Setting Experience : Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, Home Care, Long term Acute Care, NICU, Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatrics Skills Preferred : Airway Management Devices / Suctioning - Endrotracheal tube / suctioning, Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal / suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy / suctioning ;
- Care of the Patient With ARDS, Aspiration, Bronchoscopy, COVID, Cystic fibrosis, Fresh tracheostomy; Medication Administration Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled Flolan, Inhaled steroids, Mucomyst, Nitric Oxide (INo), Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Tobramycin, Xopenex;
- Medication Delivery Systems - Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Metered dose inhaler; Nebulizer - Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar;
- Oxygen therapy - Bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Trach collar; Ventilator Management BiPAP, Flow-by , CPAP, High frequency oscillator, IMV (intermittent Mandatory Ventilation), Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation;
- Neonatal / Pediatrics - Equipment / procedures - Assist in high risk delivery, Bivent, Bubble CPAP, Capillary blood gases, CPAP / Nasal CPAP / BIPAP, Assist in high risk delivery, Bivent, Bubble CPAP, Capillary blood gases, CPAP / Nasal CPAP / BIPAP;
- Care of the Infant / Child With - Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, Near drowning, Respiratory distress syndrome, Respiratory syncytial virus, Transient Tachypnea of the newborn;
Professional Knowledge and Skills - ABG interpretation, Basic EKG, Chest Physiotherapy, Drawing arterial blood gases Experience Required : minimum of at least 1 year First-timers accepted : Yes Weekend REQ : every other weekend Certs REQ : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS Is on-call REQ?

CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. CAMC FLU SEASON IS OCTOBER 1st - MARCH 31st.
