Responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling the activities of the Rehabilitation Services Department.
Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.

The Manager Therapy responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Responsible for budgets, staffing and program activity, productivity and quality
- Ensures department staff are managed effectively, including hiring, evaluating performance and competency, and conducting disciplinary / counseling sessions as needed
- Develops and maintains procedures and staffing manuals to provide referral information to staff regarding policies and practices
- Establishes and monitors programs and activities necessary for departmental compliance with the requirements of JCAHO and other regulatory agencies
- Responsible for the integrity of confidential records regarding employees and patients
Reports to assigned leader
Must be able to write neatly and legibly.
Requires constant use of good body mechanics. Required to walk and stand throughout the day. Exertion up to 40 lbs. of force to move objects.
Reaches, grasps, manipulates objects frequently. Must be able to use a keyboard. This position may have additional or varied physical demand and / or respiratory fit test requirements.

- Bachelors degree
- Current Oklahoma Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist License preferred; OR 5 years management experience in healthcare;
OR completion of MHA or MBA
- 2 years supervisory experience
- 5 years clinical experience
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
