Pharmacy Technician Instructor (Hybrid) Part Time

ABC Training Center located at 50 East Fordham Road in the Bronx is looking for another Pharmacy Technician Instructor to join our staff.

Class Schedule : Monday - Friday 9am-4 : 30pm for 4 weeks (Every other month for a total of 6 classes per year) We are looking for a Part Time Pharmacy Tech Instructor.

This is a "HYBRID" schedule so you will be teaching both via Zoom and in the school. In person classes equate to roughly 3-4 days, every other day is online.

Your will be required to get licensed as an instructor by the BPSS New York State Education Department Responsibilities : · Teach the approved BPSS curriculum in the following course subject : Pharmacy Technician · Keep immaculate records for each student · Work hand in hand with the Director of Education and the Director of Student Services · Provide compassionate education and understand not every student is at the same learning level The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing health care training to students while adhering to BPSS standards.

The Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision is part of the New York State Education Department. Qualifications · Must have at least 2 years’ experience · Must be a Certified Pharmacy Tech (PTCB) · Experience with Zoom and other online platforms · Must have patience and work well with people · Have an open schedule · BPSS Teachers License (If you do not have one you will be required to get one - which we will help you get - required for part time as well as full time instructors) · Team player Only full-time employees will be entitled to health benefits (medical, dental, and vision), life insurance and have 401K options.
