As our Substance Use Professional, you will meet clients in Cumberland and Harnett counties (NC); in client homes, local establishments, and offices, as needed.

Schedule
Daytime hours up to 40 hours per week.
CADC credential starts $22.60 per hour.
Associate or full licensure starts $23.50 per hour.

We will provide a monthly reimbursement of up to $200 (full-time) or $100 (part-time) to each associate level clinician electing this benefit for no more than 2 years, or until licensure is completed, whichever is first.
Licensures eligible to receive this benefit include LCSWA, LCMHCA, LMFTA, LPA, LCASA, and CADC.
Job Responsibilities of a Community Support Team Substance Use Professional
- Meet with clients in the Durham community (remain within the location ratio specified in service definition)
- Provides psychoeducation as indicated in the PCP
- Assist with crisis interventions
- Assist the Team Lead with behavioral and substance use disorder treatment interventions
- Assist with the development of relapse prevention and disease management strategies
- Coordinate the initial and ongoing assessment activities
- Available to attend weekly supervision and weekly team meeting
Qualifications of a Community Support Team Substance Use Professional
Education and Experience
- Two years' experience working directly with adults with mental health and substance use disorders.
- Two years' experience working in community mental health setting, preferred
Licensure / Certifications
CCS, LCAS, LCAS-A or CADC required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work with a diverse client population as well as collaborate with a team of diverse professionals and is able to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion through cultural humility
- Demonstrate skills to set firm boundaries with clients
- Excellent clinical skills including : evidence-based practices, diagnostic information (DSM 5), substance use intervention
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Comfortable working independently in the community
- Excellent written / documentation skills
- Familiar working in an electronic health records system
- Ability to manage crisis situations both in person and over the phone
