Key Responsibilities
Administer data platforms to ensure availability, reliability, recoverability, security, and performance
Lead critical data platform projects, managing outcomes and collaborating cross-functionally
Develop and maintain a rolling roadmap for Data Platform architecture and strategy
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Data Platform Engineer / DBA
2+ years in a technical leadership role
Experience with distributed systems like Spark and Kafka, and relational databases like MySQL
Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Understanding of data modeling principles and best practices for data platform availability and security
