We are currently searching for a dynamic, self-starter District / Account Manager to drive our robotics automation business covering the Southwestern US, ideally to reside in Texas or surrounding states.

Primary responsibilities will include :

  • Manage activities within the Southwest US focusing on robotic welding sales as part of Material Joining Sales Team (MJS).
  • Develop relationships with key personnel within end users and integrators through technical understanding of their processes.
  • Coordinate activities within FANUC America to assure success on sales opportunities.
  • Leverage our partners and support their promotion of welding robot sales.
  • Regularly visit customers and partners in the region to reinforce and support the FANUC Experience.
  • Solicit input and feedback from customers to continuously improve our performance for them.
  • Provide monthly reporting and forecast to the Manager and work on strategic sales initiatives to grow sales annually.
  • Manage Technical and Commercial aspects by engaging groups of FANUC America as required.

Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education :

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business related field, Masters degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years welding robotics & equipment sales experience preferred.
  • Experience selling welding solutions in the Southwest Region of the US.
  • Previously proven selling and negotiating skills with welding robot users and welding integrators
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in entertaining, listening, and written and oral communication.
  • Excellent management skills to handle large accounts and to organize and plan for many simultaneous and complex issues.
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years working knowledge of robots and robotic applications.
  • Thorough understanding of welding processes and robotic automation feasibility.
  • Thorough understating of the regional welding market.
  • Ability to read part drawings and discern weld symbols.
