Salary : $15-$20 per hour
Are you passionate about helping people and providing top notch customer service? Are you knowledgeable about insurance products and ready to assist clients in navigating their coverage needs.
If so, 4 Lane Insurance (Formerly a Farmer's Insurance Agency) wants you to join our team as a customer service representative.
Our office is expanding and we are looking to hire the right individual to join our outstanding customer service team. We are currently seeking to fulfill a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat with professionalism and empathy.
- Process policy changes, renewals, and payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up to date customer records in our database.
- Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns and issues promptly.
- Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
- Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly no more than 3 rings.
- Be outstanding at relationship building.
- Assist in task required to maintain the agency
- Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.

- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful and be coachable.
- Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
- Create relationships from a cold start.
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
- Excellent Communication / interpersonal skills.
- Must have or be willing to obtain an insurance license
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
- Exceptional problem solving and customer centric mindset
- Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial.
