SENIOR BREAST IMAGING TECHNOLOGIST

Salary Range : $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

Signing Bonus : $10,000.00

Relocation : Paid

This position requires working Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts. The selected candidate may also need to cover other sites in San Mateo, CA and Berkeley, CA as necessary.

As a licensed Mammography Technologist, your main responsibility will be to perform breast imaging and procedures, both for screening and diagnostic purposes.

You should be capable of producing high-quality images that meet ACR standards in both types of exams. Furthermore, you will need to collaborate with clinicians and other departments to ensure coordinated patient care.

Adaptability with radiology information system (RIS) and PACS systems is essential in this role. Additionally, you should actively participate in performance improvement activities within the department.

This includes maintaining accurate quality control records and participating in routine equipment testing and maintenance.

Moreover, as a Senior Mammography Technologist, you must be willing to train and assist students and new hires when required.

• Must have graduated from an AMA-approved school with a formal radiology technology-training program.
• Must have flexibility in scheduling and be able to rotate shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be prepared to work at any of the Medical Center Locations.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Mammography for Senior level. Principal level requires more than 5 years of Mammography experience.
• Must possess ARRT Mammography Certification.
• Must hold a CRT Radiology License.
• Must hold a CRT Mammography License.
• Must have a current BLS Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification.
• Must provide proof of at least 40 documented hours of mammography-specific training if certified after April 27, 1999.
• Must provide proof of having performed at least 200 mammography exams in the last 24 months.
• Must provide certificates of at least 15 CEU's in the last 36-month period, with a minimum of 6 CEU's in each mammography modality used.
• Must provide proof of MQSA approved 3D Tomosynthesis training.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 or more years of Mammography experience
• ARRT Mammography Certification
• CRT Radiology License
• Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
• CRT Mammography License
• Current BLS Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification
• Proof of at least 40 documented hours of mammography-specific training if certified afte
• Proof of having performed at least 200 mammography exams in the last 24 months.
• Certificates of at least 15 CEU's in Mammography in the last 36-month period.
• Proof of MQSA approved 8 hours each of Digital and 3D Tomosynthesis training.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
