Wythe Hotel Banquet / Event team is seeking a full-time line cook to join the kitchen team .

We are seeking an experienced Event Line Cook in our flagship restaurant on the ground floor of The Wythe. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, positive, and skilled cook.

Line Cook should have open availability and a desire to work the busiest services (the weekend!). Applicants should have one year of experience in banquet / event cooking or volume production kitchens .

All cooks in Le Crocodile must have a drive to cook and learn about delicious food, show passion for working with a team, and have an eye for detail.

Maintain constant and clear communication amongst all team members

Displays and acts in the kitchen with leadership

Produces delicious food to the level expected by our kitchen and exceeds that of the guest

Pushes cleanliness and sanitation of culinary spaces and equipment from start to finish of each shift, and is considerate of whoever is coming in next

Open to receiving feedback and is driven to improve daily

Practices technique to produce food that you and the team are proud of

Understand that your work is a direct reflection of your respect for yourself, the team, our kitchen, and culinary tradition

Is always willing to jump in and help all members of our team including Le Crocodile and Bar Blondeau

Knowledge and understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.

Understanding of how to follow written and verbal instructionshttps

Compensation Details

Compensation : Hourly ($26.00)
