Title : Senior Software Systems Engineer

Location : Irving, TX

Duration : 6 Months

Finance Data lake is a strategic enterprise initiative to centralize all ERP and supply chain data into a Hadoop big data platform and enable reporting, analytics, and self-service discovery capabilities.

• Consultant should have extensive experience in PeopleSoft ERP functional knowledge, data structure, and transactional relationships between the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Asset Management, Purchasing, Sourcing, Labor, and time modules.
• Experience in building PS queries, delivering complex analytics, and reporting to provide ever-changing business requirements.
• Experience & expertise in automated testing & reconciliation reporting efforts is desirable.
• Responsible for working with the Financial Data Lake Team and business users on requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, and coordination of UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
• Responsible for evaluating FDL related objects, analyzing business processes, identifying, documenting solutions related to project tasks, activities, identifying issues, and providing timely resolutions.
• Experienced in Agile processes, Jira, requirements analysis, design, development, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Experienced in planning, scheduling, and conducting gap analysis sessions for analytics, metrics, and reports at the enterprise level.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint for analytics and presentation.
• Strong analytical, investigative, problem-solving verbal, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure on multiple assignments with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide others to further develop individual and team skills.
• Good to have working knowledge of Hadoop big data reporting and analytical tools (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Tableau, Excel) with the ability to perform in-depth analysis of large datasets to identify root causes of issues and resolutions.

Minimum 4-year degree.
