BPN Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a ICU RN to fulfill a 13-week contract at a facility in the Topeka, KS. area.

Essential Functions Collects data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or the situation. Analyzes the assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.

Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation. Develops a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes.

Implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.

Job Requirements

Requirements / Certifications :

• Years Required : 2 years
• 1st Time Travelers : Accepted
• Certification Requirements : ACLS, BLS, and NIH are required. CPI and TNCC are preferred.

Additional Details : 16 beds on unit, adult and geriatric age groups, surgical ICU and trauma level II experience preferred.

Looking for ICU nurses that have done surgical or medical with some that are CVICU. Many of our ICU patients are cardiac with surgical and medical backgrounds.

CRRT is common on the unit as well as open hearts. We have seen an increase in IABP and Impella. Must be able to manage two vent patients with multitasking on multiple drip titrations.

Documentation System : EPIC (experience preferred).
