Job Title : Maintenance Technician
Pay : $33-$37 / hr
Reports To : Maintenance Supervisor
Shift : 1st (7am-3pm)
Primary Responsibilities :
- Understand work instructions and interpret process data.
- Gain a thorough understanding of product functionality, manufacturing processes, and customer expectations.
- Stay updated on technological advancements both within and outside of the organization.
- Support process improvement initiatives as directed by management.
- Ensure all OSHA safety procedures are properly followed and use protective equipment as needed.
Additional Responsibilities :
- Perform diversified duties related to the installation and maintenance of facility equipment.
- Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours.
- Conduct required repairs during scheduled machine service.
- Troubleshoot and repair production machinery involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform basic machinist duties such as milling and turning.
- Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and brazing methods.
- Utilize various hand and power tools, meters, and handling equipment.
- Troubleshoot defective machinery and process variations.
- Work independently with a high level of motivation.
- Assist the production team as needed and maintain housekeeping standards following 5S principles.
- Support the plant's quality registration, including TS 16949 and ISO 14001 certifications.
- Work on CNC equipment and troubleshoot automated systems.
- Familiar with troubleshooting and using PLC software for machine functionality analysis.
Essential Skills :
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant job experience.
- An Associate's Degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus but not required.
- Must obtain and maintain SQL Level 3 certification in the companies Qualification Program.
