They are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Robotics Software Engineer with expertise in Perception to join our dynamic team.

As a Senior Robotics Software Engineer specializing in Perception, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing advanced perception algorithms and systems for our next-generation robotic platforms.

You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers and researchers to create robust and efficient solutions that enable our robots to navigate and interact with complex environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and optimize perception algorithms for object detection, recognition, tracking, and scene understanding.
• Implement and integrate sensor fusion techniques using data from various sensors such as cameras, LiDAR, RADAR, and IMUs.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of perception systems with the overall robotic platform.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision, machine learning, and robotics perception.
• Perform rigorous testing and validation of perception algorithms in real-world scenarios to ensure reliability and robustness.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and interns.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in robotics software development with a focus on perception.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and ROS (Robot Operating System).
• Extensive experience with computer vision and machine learning frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• In-depth knowledge of sensor technologies and experience with sensor calibration and data fusion.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying perception algorithms in real-world robotic applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with autonomous navigation and SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping).
• Familiarity with deep learning techniques for perception tasks.
• Prior experience working in a start-up environment.
• Contributions to open-source robotics or perception projects.
