Position Requirements
Education / Experience :
3+ years of organic social media channel content creation, strategy and programming, including on screen, personality driven content.
Plese include examples of work via portfolio or links to social media accounts
Similar position at toy / fashion / lifestyle / entertainment / media company preferred
Skills / Knowledge / Ability :
- Enthusiastic on screen personality with the ability to engage and excite audiences while building community
- Ability to serve as the voice and face of a key brand on social media, including brand personality, brand spokesperson and a magnet to our consumer target
- Ability to create TikTok content that keeps up with the latest trends in a full range of execution, from filming to editing to copy writing
- Narrative and audience driven understanding of social media content
- Best practice knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms
- Good communication, management, decision-making, and relationship-building skills
- Team player willing to absorb, enhance, and execute brand direction
- Love of popular and internet culture and should be nimble and thrive on experimenting with new creative concepts and pushing boundries on social media

- Reports to Social Media Manager
- Works closely with Social Media Manager and marketing team to develop content and build community
Key Result Areas and Activities
Content Creation
- Creating engaging TikTok videos that captures the brand voice and excites and builds community
- Working with social media manager and brand team to create content that aligns with marketing strategies, product launches, and key campaigns
- Researching and reporting on TikTok and social media trends including sounds, features, challenges, creators, industry news and algorithm updates
Community Response
- Acting as voice of brand across social platforms
- Building community with fans, potential fans, and creators and brands that align with our brand voice
Moderation
- Ensuring community sentiment is positive and handling or escalating any major moments involving the brand image
- Reporting to the Social and Brand teams with a weekly view of community sentiment, suggestions, and major moments happening on and off channel
Publishing
Working with Social Media Manager to publish content across channels
Thought Leadership and Advocacy
Discovering emerging social trends and / or platforms, react quickly to find new success
Salary
$65,000 - $75,000 / yr
