Job Summary
We seek a motivated Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense, including case analysis, litigation strategy, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
The successful candidate will be expected to manage a caseload, draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda, and represent clients in court.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and handle all aspects of insurance defense cases, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
- Represent clients in court, at depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and legal strategies
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the Georgia Bar
- 3-4 years of experience in insurance defense litigation
