Position Summary / Purpose of Position :

One of 12 schools and colleges located on the University of Maryland, College Park campus, the Robert H. Smith School of Business is a recognized leader in management research and education for the global economy.

We are seeking applications for Assistant / Associate Clinical Professor (open rank). Candidates are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate marketing classes, in courses such as marketing principles and strategy, digital marketing, marketing research, consumer behavior, and integrated marketing communications.

Candidates are also expected to commit to teaching and mentorship at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Education and Experience :

The ideal candidate for Assistant / Associate Clinical Professor will have a terminal degree in a related field (Ph.D. or Ed.

D. is preferable) with relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate and / or graduate level.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Demonstrated outstanding teaching skills to a variety of audiences and across various subject areas in marketing.

Preferences :

Prior successful teaching in a top-ranked business school is preferred, and experience in senior corporate leadership roles will also be valued.
