We’re looking for DevOps Engineers to build and manage a system that will enable the firm and their DoD clients to take advantage of Cloud te chn ology, reduce data center infrastructure, and significantly enhance overall security postures.
As a DevOps Engineer on our project, you’ll support engineering and maintenance activities, including evaluation, integration, fielding, administration, testing, and operations of networks, systems, and subsystems in a virtual and cloud-based environment.
You will configure and maintain operational Windows, Red Hat Linux, and VMware environments using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and Packer.
You’ll work with DoD ACAS and HBSS products to perform system security scans and group policy updates, and execute maintenance scripts and jobs.
You will work closely with the Information Assurance teams to monitor system activities and modify configurations to resp ond to security threats and requirements, as needed.
You’ll maintain data storage, management, and system backups, and support Micro sof t IIS and SQL applications. You will design, develop, and implement system changes and enhancements, and maintain the required cybersecurity workforce certifications.

You Have :
- 5+ years of experience with a wide variety of te chn ologies and products, including VMware ESXi, Windows, network switches and routers, next-generation firewalls, VoIP te chn ologies, security appliances, load-balancing hardware, and various supporting sof tware applications and programs
- 5+ years of experience with multiple operating systems such as Red Hat Linux and Windows Server 2016
- Experience implementing and configuring IT infrastructure systems, including operating systems, applications, databases, and virtualization te chn ologies
- Experience working in a DevOps environment with CI / CD pipelines such as GitLab, or automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
- Experience working with Agile and SAFe methodologies
- Experience with DoD security implementation, including STIG and security tools such as HBSS, ACAS, SIEM, and Cloud security best practices
- Ability to interface and effectively communicate with customers at all levels, and guide and support decision making
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- DoD 8140 Certification
Nice If You Have :
- 3+ years of experience with DevOps and automation frameworks, including Chef, Docker, Puppet, or Je nk ins
- Experience with scripting or sof tware development, including PowerShell, Python, YAML, or HCL
- Experience with Risk Management Framework ( RMF ) NIST 800-53
- VMware, RHEL, or Micro sof t Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
