About The Position

Job Title : Electrophysiology Tech

Hours per Shift : 06 : 30 - 17 : 00

Experience : Minimum of 2 years required

License : Valid state license required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have :

• Scrub and EKG skills required
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Ablation and Paracentesis procedure experience required
• Inpatient and Outpatient experience required
• Ability to obtain vitals required
• EKG experience required
• Cerner EMR preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions accepted)

Description :

The Electrophysiology Tech will be responsible for performing tilt table tests and electrophysiology studies.

The daily caseload per technician ranges from 8 to 14.

The role involves various procedures including pacemaker and defibrillator placements, right and left side ablations, and Watchman procedures.

Candidates should possess skills in accurate monitoring and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.

The tech will be engaged in maintaining a sterile field and temporarily pacing patients.

Experience with mapping systems and various cardiac devices is preferred.

The tech will work with adult and geriatric patient populations.

Strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential.

Flexibility regarding weekend requirements will be discussed during the interview.

Local candidates are not accepted.

Travelers must live outside a 100-mile radius from the facility.

Compliance documentation is due prior to the start of the assignment.

A pass / fail EKG exam will be conducted prior to employment.

Modules will be required to complete prior to starting.
