NURSE MANAGER OF SURGICAL SERVICES, FORT WORTH, TX

ANNUAL SALARY RANGES FROM $85,000 TO $127,000 COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE. OUTSTANDING BENEFITS.

In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the surgical services unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while managing the department's budget and resources effectively.

You will also collaborate with the management team to drive continuous improvement in patient care services.

THE EMPLOYER IS LOOKING FOR A NURSE MANAGER OF SURGICAL SERVICES THAT COMES FROM OR’S WHERE PATIENTS ARE ADMITTED TO STAY IN THE HOSPITAL.

THEY ARE NOT LOOKING FOR A MANAGER THAT COMES FROM OUTPATIENT CLINICS FOR SAME DAY SUGERIES.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Direct and coordinate all functions of the surgical services department.

Serve as a resource for supervisors and staff, providing necessary education.

Ensure the overall quality of care provided in the department.

Make decisions based on Administrative Operational Standards, Human Resource Standards, and Standards of Care.

Manage the budget, patient care services, performance improvement, and regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with the management team for ongoing quality assessment.

REQUIREMENTS :

Three to five years of Recent Acute Care Leadership experience within surgical Unit - required.

Associates Degree in Nursing - required.

Bachelor in Nursing - preferred.

Bachelors in Nursing will be required within 3 years of employment.

RN license eligible to practice in the State of Texas - required .

CNOR Specialty Certification - preferred .

CNOR Specialty Certification - required within 6 months of employment.

Current BCLS and ACLS certification - required .

COMPENSATION :

Annual salary ranges from $85,000 to $127,000 commensurate with experience.
