Outpatient Counselor, Therapist I or II
Conifer Park is looking for a Counselor / Therapist, I or II to join our Outpatient Team in Schenectady, NY. As a Counselor / Therapist with Conifer Park you will function as part of an interdisciplinary team and provide comprehensive psychosocial assessment and diagnostic services to patients in an outpatient setting.
Provide process oriented & didactic group counseling services and individual, family or crisis counseling to a caseload.
Sign on bonus for Qualifying Health Professionals (QHP) :
Final amount dependent on Full Time Equivalent Status for selected shift.
Maximum amount is $3,000 to be paid at three intervals (90 Days, 1 Year and 2 year).
The following QHPs are eligible for sign on bonus : CASAC, LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW.
SCHEDULE 1 : (Mon & Thurs, 7 : 30am to 4pm) (Tues & Wed 10 : 30am to 7pm) (Fri 8 : 30am to 5pm)
SCHEDULE 2 : Monday & Tuesday 8am-4pm Wednesday & Thursday 10am-7pm Friday 8am-5pm
SCHEDULE 3 : Mon & Wed 10 : 00am-7 : 00pm, Tues. 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm, Thurs & Frid 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm
Requirements :
Counselor Requirements : Associates Degree in Chemical Dependency or related field with 1 year of applicable experience, Current CASAC-T or CASAC Certification, CPR Certification required within 6 months of hire
Therapist I Requirements : Bachelor’s Degree in related field, with one year related experience, CASAC or Qualified Health Professional (QHP per OASAS 800 Regulations), CPR Certification required within 6 months of hire
Therapist II Requirements : Master’s Degree in related field, Current LMHC or LMSW with one year of experience, CASAC or Qualified Health Professional (QHP per OASAS 800 Regulations), CPR Certification required within 6 months of hire
