JOB SUMMARY : As a catalyst for growth, work to support the components of the RAiSE (a Responsive, Affirming, innovative, Student-Centered Support for Educators) program.
Provide job-embedded professional learning to staff at assigned school(s) by working collaboratively with teachers and building administrators to provide learning opportunities that promote the district’s core values, vision, mission, strategic plan, and student-centered Instructional Excellence model.
As a culturally responsive, student-centered, instructional leader, use a variety of coaching models to support teachers in becoming more effective.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The following tasks describe the basic functions of the job and represent the type of work performed.

- Support the implementation of the RAiSE Program by mentoring new teaching staff, providing professional learning and support to teaching, acting as a lead learner who is fully engaged in professional learning activities, and serving as a model for resiliency in the face of instructional and professional challenges. - Support instructional practices in school buildings by collaborating with the Performance Improvement (PI) Department and the Partner of RAiSE Program to lead initiatives to support student growth, implementing student-centered coaching in addition to a variety of other coaching models (e.
g. transformative coaching, impact cycle, cognitive coaching, etc.), planning and delivering building professional learning, supporting onboarding and orientation of new-to-building staff, and communicating and implementing Colorado Academic Standards. Daily, 45%
- Collaborate with building and district leadership to build a culture of coaching within schools. Develop relationships and communicate effectively in the school environment. Daily, 5%

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : The minimum amounts of formal education, professional work experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities that must be met for a candidate to be considered for a position
- Bachelor's degree in education
- Five (5) years of professional work experience as a certified teacher
- Strong communication, organization, and human relations skills
- Ability to consistently demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
- Ability to maintain and promote a focus on continual growth
- Ability to align curriculum and assessments with state content standards
- Ability to support programs designed to increase student achievement
- Ability to assume leadership in the development and communication of programs and curriculum
- Ability and desire to work as a team member
- Ability to actively participate in a Professional Learning Community
- Ability to understand, appreciate, and make accommodations for student diversity
- Ability to serve as a role model and an innovative and creative learner with an insatiable thirst for knowledge that stays on the cutting edge of instructional practice and pedagogy

MINIMUM CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES : The minimum certifications and licenses that must be met, valid, and unexpired for a candidate to be considered for a position
- Professional Colorado License

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Any job-related formal education, professional work experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, certifications, licenses, and other criteria that are inessential and in addition to the minimum qualifications, certifications, and licenses
- Formal education beyond a Bachelor’s degree in curriculum and instruction
- Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Racially conscious and culturally competent with the skill, will, capacity, and knowledge to commit to a culture of continuous improvement
