Cost Estimator
Brad Foote Gear Works, Inc is hiring a Cost Estimator to our team in Cicero, IL.
The Estimator / Customer Care Specialist is responsible for delivering project quotations for the sales team, to develop customer solutions for both current and new customers.
This position will report to the Vice President of Sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ensure that estimates reflect Brad Foote Gears manufacturing capabilities as well as the customers requirements by interacting cross functionally with sales managers, engineers, outside vendors, purchasing team members and customers Handle customer service calls in a timely and proper manner Make estimates accurately and timely Interpret customer inquiries and contracts Prepare estimates and acknowledgments Ensure that all quotations are within the parameters established by our Quality System guidelines and that they conform with AGMA Standards Maintain Quotation records, including costing workup Carry out all contract review meetings as designated in our Quality Management System All other duties as assigned
