Personal Care Aide / Med Tech

The Personal Care Aide (PCA) / Med Tech is responsible forn the day-to-day care of residents which includes ADLS, IADLS, light housekeeping, and assisting residents with medication abiding to Personal Care Regulations.
The PCA / Med Tech would :
- Communicate courteously and effectively with residen
- Perform assignments of resident care as directed by supervisor.
- Transport residents to and from activities, meals, church services, hairdresser, etc.
- Demonstrate the Five Rights of giving medication.
- Demonstrate proper documentation on MAR including missed dose, PRN medication and discontinued medication.
- Demonstrate how to use record glucose testing prescribed by the physician.
- Properly store medication in cart locked clean, and organized.
- Daily count narcotics on every shift with PCA who is relieving you.
- Perform other duties as required.
