  • Salary Midpoint : $75,920.00 per year

Actual compensation offered will vary based on factors including applicable licenses, certifications, education, experience, location, qualifications and comparison with associates in similar roles.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee activities designed to promote regulatory compliance and continual survey readiness.

  • Stay informed of regulatory / standards changes and interprets applicability of changes across patient care, ancillary and general departments.
  • Ensure readiness at all organizational levels for regulatory changes and applies innovative methods for implementation.
  • Guide action plan development, performance monitoring and reporting when deficiencies are identified.
  • Collaborate on identifying best practices and streamlines survey preparation.
  • Serve as primary regulatory compliance support for both complex and routine operations and administrative issues.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration :

  • Registered Nurse preferred.
  • Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) preferred.
  • Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) preferred.

Education :

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree / Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

  • Ability to travel up to 100% of the time initially may taper off in the future
  • RN or LPN preferred
  • Previous medical background such as RN, ADON, DON, or Unit Mangers highly preferred.
  • Long Term Care experience with regulatory compliance is highly preferred.
  • Ability to utilize your knowledge of regulatory requirements from CMS and each State to apply to the auditing process within the community.
  • Electronic health record auditing experience.
  • Working knowledge of care plans and ability to identify gaps in care plans.
