We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Experienced Pet Care Attendant (Doggy Daycare) to join our team at Bay Paws Pet Resort.

We welcome pups and kitties of all shapes, sizes, and breed and we want YOU to help us take care of them! About Bay Paws Pet Resort

Bay Paws Pet Resort offers luxury boarding, daycare, and grooming services at multiple locations in the Tampa Bay area. All boarding suites and daycare play areas are equipped with cameras accessible through our client portal.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daycare dogs, ensuring their safety and providing a positive and stimulating environment.
• Engage in playtime activities, including interactive games, fetch, and socialization.
• Maintain clean and sanitary daycare and boarding areas, including regular cleaning of the yard, play equipment, kennels, bedding, common areas, etc.
• Stay informed about dog behavior, body language, and breed-specific traits to better understand and meet their needs.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure and controlled environment for the pets.
• Provide compassionate care and attention to pets, addressing their needs and providing comfort during their stay.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
• Utilize knowledge of dog body language and behavior to determine which dogs to rotate and which dog interactions to correct
• Move and control dogs in their suites, our hallways and Daycare yards
• Communicate with our Front Desk team and management about the dogs’ daily experience at our resort

YOU POSSESS THESE BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• 6 months - 2 years of experience in pet care (preferably, Doggy Daycare)
• Knowledge of dog behavior and body language
• Ability to control dogs while moving them throughout the resort
• Reliable transportation
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent

Available shifts and compensation : We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $14.00 - $16.00 / hour.
