IaaS division focuses on building large-scale and highly available cloud infrastructure, which supports both public cloud products (like VolcEngine ECS service) and Bytedance internal products. Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough analysis of network products and identify areas to improve networking performance, scalability and reliability
• Research and build networking infrastructure for AI / LLM workloads to improve the performance in LLM training or inference
• Collaborate with other Bytedance teams or open-source communities to develop networking products or services with SOTA techniquesQualificationsMinimum Qualification
• MS or above degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency with at least one modern programming language such as Golang, C / C++, Python, Rust
• 5 years of research or development experience with network protocol design, PoC and verification
• 5 years of experience in networking product design and development
• Familiar with Ethernet / IP / TCP protocol Preferred Qualification
• DPDK / BPF networking development experience
• Networking hardware acceleration experience with DPU / ASIC / FPGA
• Familiar with Infiniband / RDMA protocol or congestion control algorithms
• Experience in machine learning / large language models, CUDA programming and NCCL communication library
• Familiar with virtualization techniques (Qemu, KVM)
