What you bring to the table
As the Senior Project Manager - Medical Equipment Planning, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the planning and implementation of medical equipment for healthcare projects.
Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, coordinating with clients and vendors, and ensuring the successful integration of medical equipment into our architectural and construction projects.
The job involves the following essential functions :
- Lead and manage medical equipment planning projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate medical equipment seamlessly into overall project plans.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients in matters related to medical equipment planning.
- Understand client requirements and expectations, ensuring that medical equipment specifications meet industry standards and compliance regulations.
- Identify, evaluate, and select vendors for medical equipment procurement, and work with project team to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Manage relationships with medical equipment suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
- Develop and manage project budgets related to medical equipment planning, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
- Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating the timely delivery and installation of medical equipment.
- Manage internal MEQ team over a variety of projects as well as contributing to education and training of junior staff.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required. Advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in Medical Equipment Planning
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in medical equipment planning either with AEC firm or independent consultant.
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment specifications, regulations, and industry standards.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Bluebeam
Physical Demands :
Frequently required to sit, stand, and move about the office; frequently moving outdoors may be required; ability to lift and carry large plans or boxes in excess of 10 lbs;
frequently operates a computer and other office equipment, ability to coordinate and participate in client meetings, constantly communicates with project team and related parties, ability to maintain standards related to architectural design and production and ability to adhere to timely and consistent attendance.
May require travel or co / location.
