Job Overview :

The Product Owner identifies improvements needed to enhance a product and works within the agile process to assign priority, business value, and functionality to ensure the development team implements.

The Product Owner works with the business owners to ensure the successful release of the new functionality and owns the communication across the organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Represent Technology while interfacing and engaging with the business user and LPL stakeholdersCreate user stories and acceptance tests from themes and features granular enough for a single sprint
  • Prioritize user stories by business value and decides which user stories are scheduled into sprints
  • Drive features through the Discovery Phase, ensuring stories are written, UX designs have been tested, and the feature implementation is validated by cross functional teams
  • Communicate product strategy and status outside the team and at the executive level
  • Use clear goals to communicate the project vision at the beginning of every release and sprint so that the team understands and is equipped to realize it
  • Make business decisions and clearly communicates requirements through epics and stories so they are understood
  • Create, maintain, prioritize, and sequence the product feature backlog based on business value
  • Participate in project planning, daily stand-up meetings (scrums), reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings

Requirements :

  • 5+ years product owner experience
  • 3+ years product experience within and agile delivery framework and utilization of JIRA

  • Ability to effectively respond to dynamically changing work environments and to positively influence business outcomes

Preferences :

3+ years financial services experience

Pay Range :

$116,100.00 - $193,500.00

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
