Job Description
Primary Function of Position
This role provides facilities support to the Eastern US Region, including Peachtree Corners GA, Blacksburg VA, Chapel Hill NC, Durham NC, Raleigh NC, Orange CT, and Southaven MS.
The role requires regional representation of FME to various internal and external customers. This role manages and executes FME projects with the integrated facilities management provider.
It includes oversight of their efforts to deliver reliable maintenance service. This work requires engagement with cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design, and develop programs, policies, and processes that enhance the workplace experience.
This role will have primary responsibility for regulatory compliance. It will require using audit tools to check schedules, deliverables, and findings.
Documentation tools will maintain and confirm with responsible parties that procedures and records are correct and current.
The role will also include identifying and communicating technical building systems guidance to the Facilities organization through playbooks, design details, standards, and procedures.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee activities needed to ensure a functional, efficient, and safe working environment for employees.
- Use exceptional communication and listening skills to build relationships with business leaders and internal stakeholders.
Continually improve the workplace experience.
- Deliver timely responses to suggestions, inquiries, complaints and / or violations.
- Manage supplier relationships, including vendor service contracts, periodic and ongoing performance & budget reviews (KPIs, SLAs).
- Set and hold individuals and teams accountable for very high standards of competencies and overall performance.
- Manage small projects team including the design, bid, work and turnover process tracking.
- Administer and configure IWMS and building management system (BMS) for FME.
- Serve as FME SME for global BMS. Assure data quality and verify problems and opportunities.
- Ensure that the facility compliance program effectively prevents and / or detects violations of law, regulations, or facility policies.
- Work with Regulatory group to understand new compliance requirements for Facilities regulatory compliance related design, construction, and operational needs.
- Work with the stakeholder team to develop, document, and approve new building systems standards. Add these to the Facilities Basis of Design and the Facilities Construction Playbook.
- Use utility monitoring tools to verify consumption and demand. Look for utility opportunities.
- Administer and contribute to the FME Playbook.
- Track regional budget. Contribute to FME group budget and financial plan.
- Demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm.
- Apply quality tools to drive SLA attainment and exceed expectations.
- Ensure service levels are clearly communicated, understood, and performed by on-site and remote staff.
- Work to deliver new buildings and expansions with fully functional systems.
Qualifications
Skills, Experience, Education, & Training
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent years of experience.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in strategic and operational aspects of facilities and workplace services in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
- Be willing to be on call 24 / 7 for company facilities incidents and travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Experience with regulatory compliance, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of compliance monitoring systems (e.g., Agile) and managing regulatory compliance projects.
- Experience with IWMS systems.
- Experience with BMS systems.
- History of successfully managing a building projects group.
- Experience with project reporting tools.
- Experience with playbooks and design guidelines including development and documentation of procedures, standards, and details.
- Exceptional critical skills.
- Knowledge of sustainability, LEED system, LBC standards.
- Excellent business judgment, exceptional written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common-sense approach to getting things done.
- Patients first mindset. Desire to provide excellent customer service.
- Possesses exceptional interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively with all levels, from individual contributors to executive leadership.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment, taking a leadership role and dealing with changing circumstances effectively.

Base Salary Range Region 2 : $121,000 - $174,200
