Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to : Assist in triage for a specific gynecology / oncology population.
Assist with the management of patients undergoing evaluation and management of pelvic floor conditions. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team for consistent and positive patient outcomes.
Provide education and guidance to patients and families. Minimum Requirements : Facility Requirement : Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in traveler's profile).
Experience : Oncology, gynecology, chemotherapy and ambulatory triage experience preferred. Traveler must have completed two years of experience within last 3 years.
If the traveler has experience in an oncology clinic they could do 2 days a week in a clinic and then the rest in triage.
Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks) preferred. Licensure and Certification : Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
BLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY OCN (Oncology Certificate Nurse) or ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) or APHON (Association of Pediatric Hematology / Oncology Nurses) required.
Reference Needs 2 references from recent work environment / assignments (supervisor or manager only). Floating Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and / or based on the traveler's competency skills / experience.
The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and / or different locations within the organization.
During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
