Warehouse Inventory Manager
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Inventory Manager to join our growing company.
The Warehouse Inventory manager will manage inventory for the entire operation as well as material needs for specific projects.
Your chief goal in this position will be to monitor and manage our company’s inventory levels. You will be responsible for overseeing inventory tracking systems and developing new tracking systems as needed, reviewing levels of supplies, ordering new materials, and performing analyses.
The warehouse inventory manager will also be responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
What will you be doing at Dalkia?
- Safety ensuring all industrial powered vehicles and equipment (e.g. forklift, electric pallet jack, and fleet trucks) utilized by anyone, will be trained and certified accordingly, previous experience is not required.
- Receiving all deliveries and shipments.
- Manage the inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
- Complete transactions within inventory management software to reduce inventory counts and tag material costs according to the appropriate job or project.
- Conduct physical inventory counts to ensure the management system is accurate.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Manage purchase order system and reconciliation of vendor invoices.
- Work with Field Operations Coordinator to test functionality of material and manage warranty related issues with all vendors.
- Daily material used for jobs / projects.
- Vendor relationship management.
- Analyze different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective pricing.
- Must be comfortable driving fleet vehicles to job sites (pickup trucks).
- Collaborating with the field operations coordinator to ensure fleet vehicles are stocked appropriately with the most used materials.
- Ensure field personnel have the proper material for their daily work orders.

- Previous experience working in an inventory management role, or any job related to data management.
- Someone comfortable adapting to new software and technology.
- Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and business processes.
- An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Must be able to work with little to no supervision.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
