Your Opportunity

As a backend engineer, you will have a valuable opportunity to contribute to the design and development of our data architecture and interfaces for our core application, which caters to top-tier software investors worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm with Product Managers and Engineers to conceptualize and build new features.
• Help design, develop and launch cloud-native, API-driven web applications.
• Participate in technical architecture discussions and actively contribute to decision-making processes, including cloud architecture design.
• Integrate multiple 3rd party data sources to enrich proprietary data stores.
• Support clients as they try to solve complex problems with technology.
• Continuously conduct refactoring, evolve standards, and improve build and test systems for code quality; implement documentation, code review, and CI / CD processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of web application development experience.
• 4-year BS degree in computer science
• Knowledge of writing scalable code in JavaScript or Typescript and experience with client-server single page applications
• Knowledge of web services relating to APIs (REST, GraphQL, XML, HTTP, JSON, etc.)
• Previous hands-on development experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with Agile development methodology (Scrum)
• Have worked in an entrepreneurial environment and enjoy operating in a small team
• Understanding of financial calculations related to investments a plus

Compensation And Benefits

Commensurate with experience, Salary of $120,000 - $160,000 + Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, STLB), HSA available, position is eligible for equity compensation.

Salary Range : $120,000-$160,000 base.
